Coordinators

A coordinator is a workspace member assigned to score ideas in one or more categories. Coordinators are not admins; they don't change settings or override decisions.

What a coordinator does

• Score assigned ideas, for every idea routed to them, the coordinator scores 1 to 5 per criterion in that category, with optional comments.
• See reviewers only ideas in their categories, even when they aren't the submitter.
• See real submitter identity on anonymous ideas they review, peers see "Anonymous"; the assigned coordinator sees the real name.
• Ask for clarification, coordinators can send a question back to the submitter from inside the review screen and get notified when the submitter replies.
• Reassign reviewers within their category, when permitted.

Coordinators cannot override an auto-decision. Override authority is admin only. Coordinators also can't change tenant settings, invite users, or open billing.

Assigning coordinators per category

Each category has a primary reviewer (the coordinator who's responsible for it) plus optional additional reviewers. When an idea lands in a category, the system assigns the primary reviewer first, then rotates round-robin through additional reviewers up to the category's max_reviewers cap.

1. Open Settings → Categories, then click the category you want to staff.
2. Open the Reviewers panel.
3. Pick a Primary reviewer. This person is the default scorer for new ideas in this category.
4. Add Additional reviewers if you want a second or third person rotated in.
5. Set Max reviewers per idea to cap the round-robin.
6. Save.

The coordinator's day-to-day

The Ideas list filtered to Assigned to me is the coordinator's home view. Open it from the sidebar; click any idea to land on its scorecard.

A new assignment also fires:

• An in-app notification.
• An email (default on; users can override per event).
• A Slack DM if the user has linked their Slack identity (Growth and Scale).

Plan limits

The Starter plan caps your workspace at five coordinators. The Coordinator option in the role dropdown is greyed out once you hit the limit; clicking it opens the upgrade modal.

The Growth and Scale plans have no coordinator cap.

Tip

A coordinator who's also responsible for several categories sees ideas across all of them in the same "Assigned to me" view. Use Departments and category filters to keep the list manageable.
