Submit your first idea in five minutes

This page walks through submitting your first idea end to end, from opening the form to receiving a reference number.

You can submit an idea as soon as you've signed in. You don't need any role beyond your default account, you don't need an admin to enable anything, and you don't need to learn the scoring rubric. The form is short.

  1. From the sidebar, click Ideas, then New idea. The new-idea form opens.

  2. Pick a Category. Categories are the kinds of ideas your workspace evaluates, for example Process Improvement or Customer Experience. Each category has its own scoring criteria.

  3. Fill in the required fields:

    • Title, a short headline, up to 120 characters.
    • Description, what the idea is, up to 2 000 characters.
    • Problem, the problem this idea addresses, up to 500 characters.
  4. As your title reaches three characters, an overlap panel appears below the title field. It lists up to five existing ideas that look similar. Read it. If your idea has already been raised, you can support that one instead of submitting a duplicate.

  5. Optionally fill in:

    • Impact, the benefit you expect, up to 500 characters.
    • Implementation, effort or implementation notes, up to 800 characters.

Once you've written at least 50 characters in any text field (except Title), a sparkle icon appears in the top-right corner of that field's label. Click it to see an AI-refined version of your text. You can keep your original or replace it with the suggestion.

  6. You'll see an Anonymous toggle. Turning it on hides your name from peers; coordinators and admins still see who you are. If your admin has turned off anonymous submissions for the workspace, this toggle won't appear.

  7. You'll see a Visibility selector. The default is Visible to everyone. Pick Visible to reviewers only to hide the idea from peers until it is approved. If your admin has turned off private ideas for the workspace, this selector won't appear.

  8. Click Submit. You'll land on a confirmation screen with your idea's reference number, in the format IDEA-2026-0047. Note the reference number, it's how you'll find your idea in lists and search.

The moment you submit, several things run in the background:

  • The system assigns the idea a reference number that never changes.
  • The AI first reviewer queues up to score the idea against your category's criteria.
  • Coordinators in your category receive an email and an in-app notification.
  • The idea moves to In review status and waits for human reviewers to score it.

You'll receive an email when a decision is reached. You can also follow progress on the idea's detail page. At the top of that page, a status stepper shows your idea's position in the full pipeline — from In review through to Implemented — with its current step highlighted. The activity timeline below it records every status change in detail.
