The Submit button stays disabled until Title, Description, Problem, and a category (or campaign) are filled.

The form includes two ways to refine your writing with AI before submitting.

Per-field sparkle icon. The Description, Problem, Impact, and Implementation fields each have a small sparkle icon in the top-right corner of their label row. Click it to open a popover that shows an AI-refined version of what you've written. You can cancel or replace your text with the refined version. The icon is greyed out until you've written at least 50 characters in that field. The Title field has no sparkle icon. Each field's refinement uses specific guidance for that field's purpose, so the suggestion for "Problem" is framed differently from the one for "Impact".

Refine with AI panel. The right rail of the form includes a "Refine with AI" helper that works across the full idea draft. It is always visible in the right rail, between the AI Brainstorm card and the Tips panel. Like the AI Brainstorm card, this panel takes your workspace's background, industry, and strategic priorities into account when it rewrites your text, subject to your admin's AI settings.

Two separate decisions, made when you submit. Both options appear on every submission form by default; your workspace admin can turn either off under workspace settings.

  • Visibility controls who can see the idea. Visible to everyone lets all workspace members read it; Visible to reviewers only hides it from peers until the idea is approved, at which point it flips automatically to Visible to everyone.
  • Anonymous controls whether your name is shown. When on, peers see "Anonymous" as the author; coordinators and admins still see your real name in their review surfaces.

| Setting | Submitter sees | Other members see | Coordinator sees | Admin sees | |---|---|---|---|---| | Open, named | own idea | full idea, your name | full idea, your name | full idea, your name | | Open, anonymous | own idea | full idea, "Anonymous" | full idea, "Anonymous" | full idea, "Anonymous" | | Reviewers only, named | own idea | nothing | full idea, your name | full idea, your name | | Reviewers only, anonymous | own idea | nothing | full idea, "Anonymous" | full idea, "Anonymous" |

Attachments are available on the Growth and Scale plans.

  • Up to 3 attachments per idea.
  • Up to 10 MB per file.
  • Allowed types: JPEG, PNG, GIF, PDF, DOCX, XLSX.
  • Attachments can be added while the idea is in_review and no reviewer has finished. Once any reviewer marks their scorecard complete, attachments are frozen.
  • You can rename an attachment after uploading. The file extension is locked — only the base name is editable — so renaming never breaks the download link.

On the idea detail page, image attachments (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and other image types) display as an inline preview tile above the filename and download row. Click the preview to open the full image in a new tab. Non-image attachments (PDF, DOCX, XLSX) show the compact filename row only.

We accept common document and image formats up to 10 MB each, and limit each idea to three attachments.

In order:

  1. The system generates a reference number, in the format IDEA-2026-0047.
  2. The idea is created with status in_review.
  3. The category's criteria are snapshotted onto the idea, so later edits to the rubric don't rewrite your scores.
  4. Coordinators in your category receive an email and an in-app notification.
  5. The AI first reviewer queues up in the background.
  6. If your workspace has Slack connected, a post lands in the default channel.
  7. You see a confirmation screen with your reference number and the message "We've notified your reviewers."
