What Sparqbox is for

Companies lose ideas at the coffee machine, in side conversations, and at the bottom of suggestion boxes. Even the ideas that get written down often get forgotten in email threads. Sparqbox replaces that with a single workflow: a guided submission form, an AI first reviewer that scores the idea against your weighted criteria, human reviewers who add their own scoring, and a deterministic decision (approve, reject, or needs discussion) accompanied by written feedback.

The product is built for teams of 10 to 500 people who want a real evaluation process without standing up an internal innovation programme from scratch. Eight default categories ship pre-loaded, each with criteria and weights you can tune.

Admin setup wizard

When the workspace admin first signs in, a setup wizard walks through seven steps before the dashboard unlocks. The wizard runs once and can be left and returned to without losing progress. From the very first screen, a step indicator shows the full path ahead: workspace identity, departments, workflow and categories, AI setup, invite users, and go live.

The seven steps in order:

  1. Welcome. Intro screen with the step indicator visible so you know what is coming.
  2. Workspace identity. Workspace name and optional logo.
  3. Departments. Optional grouping of users. Enter department names; pressing Enter on a filled row adds the next one.
  4. Workflow and categories. Categories are pre-selected based on the industry you pick, with at least four active by default. You can toggle any category on or off. Set the minimum number of human reviewers and a review SLA. Approval and rejection thresholds are configured later in Criteria & scoring and are not part of the wizard.
  5. AI setup. The AI reviewer is on by default during your 14-day trial and cannot be turned off until the trial ends. This step is skippable; you can update every AI setting later in Settings → AI.
  6. Invite users. Share the workspace invite link and optionally write a welcome message for the invite email.
  7. Go live. Review your choices and launch. The dashboard unlocks and a short product tour begins.

Every setting configured in the wizard can be changed later from the admin pages.

The promise

Every idea receives a written response before it closes. Every idea. The system enforces this at decision time: an admin override cannot save without feedback text, and auto-decisions write feedback as part of the same transaction that records the outcome.
